Dr. Mai Cong Danh is a leading expert in Neonatology with over 25 years of clinical experience. Currently serving as the Deputy Head of the Neonatology Department at Hung Vuong Hospital, Dr. Danh has directly treated and saved the lives of thousands of premature infants at this premier maternal and pediatric center in Southern Vietnam. His clinical expertise is specifically focused on the following four areas:

Neonatal Resuscitation and Intensive Care (NICU): Executing emergency procedures in the delivery room and providing specialized intensive care for premature infants, extremely low birth weight babies, and severe pathological cases.

Advanced Non-Invasive Respiratory Support: Applying and optimizing nCPAP and HFNC ventilation methods to protect lung function and minimize invasive trauma in newborns.

Diagnosis and Management of Complex Neonatal Pathologies: Effectively treating infections, metabolic disorders, and a wide range of internal medical conditions during a child’s earliest days of life.

Applied Research and Protocol Optimization: Leading scientific research projects on neonatal respiratory support, while continuously updating and standardizing treatment protocols in accordance with evidence-based medicine.
