  • A team of experienced Pediatricians, OB-GYNs, and Nurses will provide health care for mom and baby at home, including:
    + 2 At-Home Visits (60 mins/visit): 1 visit for Mom by an OB-GYN Specialist and 1 visit for Baby by a Pediatrician.
    + 1 Online Consultation (45 mins): A follow-up video call with the doctor after the visit to answer all questions and provide dedicated guidance based on needs (during office hours).
    + Special Offer: 1 Complimentary Bath & Massage session for the baby.

  • Provides comprehensive, continuous, personalized care for 4 weeks.
  • Combines Medicine – Psychology – Nutrition – Physical Activity.
  • Setting a new standard for postpartum women’s healthcare in Vietnam.

A. Care Goals for Mom:

  • Ensure comprehensive recovery of physical health, mental health, and maternal function, while detecting and managing postpartum complications early.
  • Due to time constraints, depending on the mother’s request and health condition, the OB-GYN will prioritize examination and consultation on specific items from the following 10 categories:

1. Obstetric History Review:

  • Health history, pregnancy-related illnesses
  • Labor and delivery process (vaginal/C-section)
  • Postpartum complications (if any)
  • Current medications (if any)

2. General Examination:

  • Assessment of vital signs (heart rate and blood pressure)
  • Heart, lung, and general physical examination
  • Blood glucose measurement (if needed)

3. Gynecological Examination:

  • Assessment of lochia (color, amount, odor), early detection of abnormalities
  • Counselling to prevent lochia retention in the uterus
  • Assessment of uterine involution, early detection of abnormalities
  • Assessment of pelvic organ prolapse, early detection of abnormalities
  • Checking for signs of inflammation and infection, and other abnormalities

4. Examination and Care of Wounds and Sutures:

  • Inspection and guidance on caring for episiotomy stitches and C-section incisions
  • Dressing change and suture removal (if any)
  • Pain assessment
  • Checking for signs of infection
  • Prescribing pain relievers, anti-inflammatories, antibiotics… (if needed)
  • Guidance on using the restroom when the wound is still painful

5. Breast Examination and Lactation Capacity:

  • Examination and assessment of mammary glands and milk production capacity
  • Counselling for timely prevention and management of mastitis, delayed milk let-down, low milk supply, cracked nipples…
  • Explanation of the benefits of breastfeeding
  • Guidance on proper breastfeeding, correct milk expression, and prevention of clogged ducts
  • Understanding the mother’s difficulties and questions regarding breastfeeding and providing timely advice

6. Urination & Defecation:

  • Assessment of urination issues (retention, leakage, burning pain), timely counselling and treatment
  • Assessment of defecation issues (constipation, hemorrhoids, fecal incontinence), timely counselling and treatment

7. Postpartum Exercise:

  • Guidance on appropriate exercise for the mother’s condition
  • Guidance on pelvic floor exercises (Kegel exercises) to help control urination, prevent leakage, and improve sexual health
  • Guidance on safe posture when holding the baby, preventing back pain and hernia

8. Psychological Health:

  • Initial assessment of postpartum depression, anxiety, and insomnia
  • Listening and sharing the difficulties of motherhood

9. Nutrition:

  • Counselling on Calorie and water intake needs
  • Counselling on food groups that are good for the mother
  • Counselling on foods to avoid
  • Answering the mother’s questions about her diet

10.Sexual Intercourse and Family Planning:

  • Counselling on the appropriate time to resume sexual intercourse
  • Counselling on the appropriate time for the next pregnancy to ensure safety
  • Counselling on contraception methods
  • Counselling on other issues such as loss of libido, vaginal dryness, pain during intercourse….

B. Care Goals for Baby:

  • Ensure optimal health, physical development, and immunity through examination, monitoring, and guiding parents to care for the baby with Safety – Science – Love.
  • Due to time constraints, depending on the family’s request and the baby’s health, the Pediatrician will prioritize examination and consultation on specific items from the following 6 categories:

1. Comprehensive Examination:

  • Respiratory Examination: Checking breathing rate, detecting abnormalities such as difficulty breathing, wheezing…
  • Cardiac Examination: Checking the baby’s heart rate, detecting abnormalities.
    Skin Examination: Assessing for jaundice and external skin issues such as eczema, heat rash, diaper rash.
  • Digestive Examination: Guidance on detecting and managing issues such as spitting up, abdominal distension/bloating, diarrhea, constipation…
  • Abdominal/Umbilical Examination: Detecting issues such as umbilical infection, umbilical hernia…
  • Eye Examination: Assessing the baby’s ability to move their eyeballs…
  • Genitourinary Examination: Detecting abnormalities such as phimosis (tight foreskin) in boys, labial adhesion in girls.
  • Musculoskeletal Examination: Detecting abnormalities such as developmental dysplasia of the hip (hip dislocation), clubfoot.

2. Assessing the Baby’s Development:

  • Assessing the baby’s weight and length.
  • Measuring the baby’s head circumference to monitor brain development.
  • Checking the baby’s reflexes – Moro reflex (startle), sucking reflex, grasping reflex…

3. Breastfeeding:

  • Guidance on proper breastfeeding technique (number of feeds per day, feeding duration, feeding position, signs of satiety/fullness…).
  • Guidance on correct milk expression and storage.
  • Understanding and advising on the mother’s questions while breastfeeding.

4. Baby Care and Hygiene:

  • Guidance on safe bathing for the baby.
  • Guidance on cleaning the umbilical cord, eyes, and nose for the baby.
  • Counselling on safe sleeping positions and sleep environment for the baby.
  • Counselling on how to keep the baby warm to prevent hypothermia.

5. Managing Crying:

  • Guidance on identifying the reasons the baby is crying and how to manage different causes.

6. Vaccination:

  • Counselling on necessary vaccines and the timing of immunizations.

C. Notes:

  1. Cost does not include testing fees, medicine, or any other products, and does not include the travel expenses of the medical staff to your home.
  2. Travel Surcharge: This fee depends on your home location. Please contact us for a quote on this cost.
  3. After-Hours Surcharge:
    • After 7:00 PM (19:00): Surcharge 100,000 VND
    • After 9:30 PM (21:30): Surcharge 200,000 VND
  4. Overtime Surcharge for Home Visits: 100,000 VND / 15 minutes.
